Urine Infections

Prevent by drinking plenty, cranberry juice (unless on Warfarin) and treat constipation by increasing your fibre intake or taking a mild laxative.

In children of primary school age:  Give plenty to drink, painkillers and always see a health professional. The younger the child the quicker you need to find support.

There are over the counter remedies and sachets such as sodium citrate and sodium bicarbonate, which can help to naturally clear a urine infection.
